Warranty and Defects

Our tires are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for five (5) years. Adjustments are made on a prorated basis (you pay for tread wear used). We are not responsible for tire and tube failure due to improper mounting, mechanical failure or improper alignment of the vehicle. Kelsey Tire does not offer any guarantee of fitment for any particular purpose and limits its liability to the purchase price of the item. All tires and tubes should be installed by properly trained individuals. The dimensions of the listed tires are not scientifically measured and may vary depending on rim width and inflation.

We provide specifications for each tire; this can change due to weather, the size of the rim being used, and PSI. The specifications are for general guideline use, and it is up to the customer to measure wheel wells and spare tire areas for correct fitment.

DO NOT use any chemicals to clean your tires; this can cause the tire’s white walls and raised white letters to turn brown. If you use chemicals to clean your tires and your white walls turn brown, you can not make a warranty claim.

If there is a defect, we require pictures of the issue emailed to sales@kelseytire.com. Pictures are then forwarded to the factory. If it is a defect, then the tire will be either sent back to the factory or destroyed.

Kelsey Tire is not responsible for the costs to have the defective tire(s) destroyed, mounting, balancing of the replacement and/or the original tire(s).

When the tire is to be sent back, Kelsey Tire will pay for it to be picked up by either FedEx or UPS. A replacement tire is shipped out, and the customer’s credit card will be charged for the new tire and shipping. Once Kelsey Tire receives the old tire back, the customer will receive a credit for the replacement tire and shipping charge.

When the tire is to be destroyed, pictures of the tire with a drill bit through the tire next to the DOT is to be emailed to sales@kelseytire.com. A replacement tire is shipped out, and the customer’s credit card will be charged for the new tire and shipping. Once Kelsey Tire receives the pictures the customer will receive a credit for the replacement tire and shipping charge.
